Freeze Dried Rose Petals Mixed Colours – 4 Pints (1.89 Litres)
There are loads of uses for freeze dried rose petal confetti – you can scatter rose petals on tables, make rose petal confetti cones, pour into a top hat or add them into your invitation envelopes. These are real rose petals, freeze dried so they retain their size, shape and natural scent and simply look like real rose petals and not the dried, shrunken bits that you may have seen before!
The freeze-dried rose petal confetti is an assortment of colours – burgundy, red, pink, lilac & ivory/cream, which vary in size from 1cm to 5cm.
With more and more churches and wedding venues now banning the use of conventional paper confetti, the only real alternative are freeze dried rose petals – they’re bio degradable, can be swept up easily and don’t stain clothes.
The freeze-dried rose petals come in a bag 18 x 10 cm in size and contain 4 pints (1.89 litres) of freeze-dried rose petals (approx 500-550 petals). Please note – the freeze-dried rose petals settle in transit.
4-pint bags of freeze dried rose petals covers approx 10 tables seating 8-10 people.
Answers to FAQ about freeze dried rose petals:
- 4 pints of freeze dried rose petals will lightly cover over 1 square metre.
- For a 100 guests all to throw freeze dried rose petals you would need 4 bags and 100 cones! Or you can have the rose petals in a baskets on either side of the door for people to take a hand full as they leave.
- Freeze dried rose petals are non-staining and bio-degradable.
- For super soft petals re-hydrate them in a steamy bathroom, not in the shower, for 30 – 60 mins. The freeze dried rose petals will become very soft silky and pliable!
- Unlike fresh petals, freeze dried rose petals do not go brown or wilt, so they can be purchased months in advance of your wedding day, eliminating last minute worry.
