You’ve seen it time and time again. Those cool clear lights on vehicles and the awesome LED lights. A good set of custom clear tail lights really add uniqueness to vehicles that makes everybody look twice. I guess it’s because they look so different then your usual factory lights, or maybe just because they blend in with the car. Either way, a set of aftermarket clear lights is a simple way to give your vehicle that custom look.
If you’ve been thinking about changing the way your car looks, clear lights are an inexpensive and cool way to begin. When you start to do your homework, you’ll find out that there are many choices out there. There are hundreds of manufactures, and tons of choices. What you thought was going to be a simple task has suddenly turned in lots of research to determine which kit is right for you. When you’re choosing the lights for your vehicle, you need to consider a few things. First let’s think about the look you want for your ride.
For starters, what kind of style are you looking for? There are a ton of choices. There are LED lights. Euro Taillights that blend in with the car and clear tail light that have a chrome color when installed. Also what kind of background are you looking for? A dark light wouldn’t blend on a gold color. In that instance, you would be better off getting a clear light.
What about the color? Remember they need to be street legal. But what I’m talking about is the color it’s surrounded by, the exterior of the light and other things. Take a look at clear tail lights and figure out what color would be best. Sometimes, you’ll notice that clear isn’t always completely clear, some mirror bulbs don’t blend in as well and black may be brown. Another thing to consider is the cover for your lights. Some aftermarket manufactures make colored lenses to match your vehicle. You should also consider other things you plan do to customize your vehicle. Will the new tail lights match the new body kit you’re planning on buying? This should help you narrow down the choices of what to get for your vehicle.
