Bridesmaid dress colours?
Hello,
I’m getting married in May and my dress has red embroidery on it. Can anyone suggest a colour that would compliment my dress for my bridesmaid’s dresses? Is some kind of blue a possibility? Thanks 
If you do agree with blue, is there a shade that you think might look good? Keep in mind its a May wedding.
Thanks for so many good answers! But for those of you who said stuff like “uh…red”? It’s not that I hadn’t thought of red and there is nothing wrong with red (for the person who asked), but I want me and my to-be-husband to match in red… and then I want the bridesmaids to match the groomsmen in ANOTHER colour that also compliments us. And don’t worry everyone, I would never pick a bright blue that would make the wedding look like an american flag… That would be so tacky! I was thinking more of a light blue (not necessarily baby blue though!)
I would stay away from blue. Unless you want a patriotic wedding (you may not intend it that way, but whats the first thing in your mind when you see red, white, and blue?). Champagne would be my first choice. Red would work too.
