Why have handkerchiefs (hankies) become so thin? Where can I buy good old fashioned thick ones?
When did manufacturers decide to make handkerchiefs so thin that a good blow will render it useless (and give you wet hands instead)? Are they in cahoots with tissues manufacturers so that the only way you can possibly cope with a cold is to walk around with a box of tissues and a bag to dispose them in? Can someone please explain to me why they have become as pointless as those towels that don’t actually dry you? And can you also tell me where I can get hold of the good old fashioned thick ones that you can last a day on, even with a cold?!
