The movie where these kids are crossing the desert…?
What was the name of it?
‘Kay, so the movie begins with some boy moving to some foreign country (I think it is Africa, but I’m not sure). He meets a girl his age. (There is this scene where he ends up eating the cat? food ’cause he thinks that it is caviar [I think]… hahaha.) But the girl’s place gets torched down by some evil people with guns. The kids end up running for their lives. They must cross the desert & almost die. I think that it also has to do with the (illegal) ivory trade too (because I remember a whole bunch of tusks being blown up with dynamite).
Also, I thought for a while that Kirsten Dunst was in it but now I don’t think that it was her.
(Maybe I’m getting two movies mixed up?)
