Vintage accessories are very much in fashion lately, with bags, jewelry and other accessories that look great!
Anything that has an aged look to it can be considered vintage and so it is quite easy to find cute accessories at a low cost. Every girl should have a vintage handbag in her closet. The small, purse size ones are especially glam for a night on the town with the girls. A vintage handbag will usually have some floral design or a plain design with a stunning brioche attached, which indicates that it is vintage. These bags go great with almost any outfit, given the color co-ordination is correct.
The next must have on the vintage list is a pair of sunglasses. Vintage sunglasses are very stylish for when the sun is out and for the beach. They are usually easy to spot as they have huge distinct frames similar to what the women wore in the 1940s, with very round lenses and round frames.
The next set of vintage accessories I would like to mention is something unusual but very cool! Vintage cuff-links are hard to find but look very smart on a man’s suit. They are characterized by their huge decorative attachments such as big bobbles or gold squares. They are small accessories but look stylish on men.
Vintage accessories extend to all jewelry types and are so hip for ladies. Vintage chains are very pretty to wear with dresses or smart clothes. These chains often come with big medallions on gold chains which really compliment the neck line.
Added to necklaces are very cool rings, which are often big gold rings with a variety of stones attached. One or two of these vintage accessories look great with necklaces for women.
Old vintage watches are also very stylish and go very well with vintage rings and necklaces. These can be recognized by their golden plated straps and dainty faces.
Vintage scarves are stunning on the colder days and can match with almost anything. These scarves are often decorated with flowers or pastel colors. The scarf can be tied around the head or wrists or neck, either way looks amazing!
Gloves compliment scarves well on a cool day when vintage accessories should be worn! These accessories add a really lady-like taste to your outfit and are really dainty! Some gloves come up to the elbow which, are used for more formal occasions. Other hand gloves that stop at the wrist are used for day gloves. Some are even finger-less which has come back into fashion lately and look glam!
All vintage accessories are the perfect accompaniment to dressing up and going out! They have been in fashion before, are in fashion again and are certainly expected to make a comeback in the future!
