is it wrong to wear black nail varnish to a wedding?
The outfit:
- Cream satin strapless bustier top with emroidered flowers (black, pale blue, lilac and yellow) and black satin tie round waist.
- Black full skirt, knee length with black satin trim
- Cream High heeled shoes
- Lilac or pale blue pashmina
I have very dark hair and will wear a flower, either pale blue or lilac to match pashmina. But, I’m stuck on what colour nail varnish to choose. I think pale blue or lilac would be a no go, but not sure if black is appropriate? Any other suggestions?
First of all, I think what you’re wearing sounds really beautiful! OK, I think a black nail will be an interesting twist on this outfit, and it will go because there’s black on it already. JUST MAKE SURE that the nail is clean, shiny and perfectly manicured rather than chipped, trashy punk nails! And if you are perfectly groomed and your makeup is all perfect, you should be able to pull it off with ease. If that fails, I think a very dark purple nail might also go well with this.
