I’m 16, is a halter dress too “grown up” for me??
I bought a couple dresses today, and they both hit right at the top of my knees, a little longer in the back. The neckline is fairly low, but it doesn’t show anything. It’s like a halter top, so it covers my boobs completely (plus, I’m pretty flat chested anyways).
I’m like addicted to buying dresses, and every single one I have ever come home with has looked like this, the only difference is it’s usually a tube dress, which is much more revealing than a halter, and my parents always approve of them. Well, for some stupid reason, they will not let me wear these ones that I bought today!
They say that they are “too revealing and grown up” that I’m not 20 years old, so I cant wear them. WTF?! Why would they do this? Is it because they have a lower neckline? Tube dresses show way more than these dresses that I bought, so I just don’t understand at all!
I think 16 is the perfect age to wear halter top dresses. ITs cute sun dresses for summer and I think they look adorable on girls your age. I think clothes like that are made for that age group of girls. Its better to wear those things when your young and in shape. You have to rest of your life to have to dress like a fuddy duddy. Your teen years are your time to have fun and experiment with your wardrobe!
