All right guys, you can stop laughing. There really is a perfect woman out there for you. In fact, she might already be standing next to you right now. It depends on your perspective. Some men have far higher standards than others. But this article is actually intended for you women who would like to be more perfect for your man. Or be able to attract a more desirable man. And, although I am a man, I will attempt to list for you some of the characteristics I would hope that the perfect woman would possess. Please note that the following ideas are in no particular order of importance. So, here are the qualities that will help describe the perfect wife or mate.
- Be more understanding: Let’s face it; men are different from women. They need their man-cave space, are somewhat stubborn and boorish. Try to overlook some of their bad behavior and cut them some slack. Be sympathetic to their needs, even if it hurts once in a while. And, speaking of needs…
- Have more sex: Even if it’s not your favorite recreational activity. Ask him what he likes and do it, often. Then see if he will give you more of what you want. He may surprise you. And be the aggressor once in a while. He’ll love it. Finally, break out the sex toys or go shopping together for some. You do like shopping, right?
- Don’t nag so much: Sure, the house needs painting and he always has to be reminded to take out the trash. Instead of yelling at him, beg him nicely. Try asking when he might be able to paint the trim and that you’ll even help get the paint or supply beer for his buddy helpers. He doesn’t need the pressure, I can assure you.
- Take his side: Okay, he’s usually wrong, but not always. Try to be on his side of an issue when appropriate. He might have a good though now and then. Offer words of praise or encouragement if he is trying something new. If he wants to play poker on a night when your mother is coming over, have her postpone the visit. Make it about his needs for a moment.
- Dress well: Even at home. Through out the old-fashioned dressing gown and opt for some lingerie. If the kids are around, dress more demurely. When you’re out, always look your best. But when in private, anything goes.
- Learn to cook: Try making something besides macaroni and cheese or ordering out for pizza. Get creative. Ask him what he likes and let him grill the steaks while you make the twice-baked stuffed potatoes and chocolate mousse for dessert. Buy a cookbook and practice, practice.
- Surprise him: Buy an imported beer or fancy watch. Write a card and place it on his pillow. Plan a romantic getaway or a night without the kids. Dress as a topless nurse and let him play doctor. Get him a subscription to Popular Mechanics or even Playboy.
- Clean the house: Or apartment. Do the wash, as needed. You don’t have to be a slave, but if something is dirty like the kitchen counter, wipe it down. Run the dishwasher. Ask him to vacuum or mop the floors while you do the toilets. But try to take pride in you home and ask him to help do the tougher work.
- Be thrifty: Help the household save money by looking for sales, clip coupons and do your part to cut costs. Unless you’re a millionaire with unlimited resources, he’ll appreciate your efforts to support the budget. Put the savings away towards a nice vacation. Let him know you are doing your part to make his hard-earned money go farther.
- Be the best mother or wife or friend you can: Try to keep the kids healthy and happy by doing all the basic motherly things, but involve him as needed. Be available when he needs you and offer him support and love daily. Be a life partner, lover and pal. Make being a couple both fun and exciting.
I’m sure there are far more than ten ways to create the perfect woman, but one must start somewhere, mustn’t one? My intention is to get you thinking about the various ways that a perfect women might behave, from a man’s perspective. It’s then up to you to let them know where to begin. Pick any one item as a reference point. Then let the molding commence. So, gentlemen, don’t allow this perfect opportunity to slip by. Perfection could be just moments away.
