Ostrich feather centerpieces?
would it be cheaper to have feather or floral centerpieces?
It is neither cheap nor tacky to have Ostrich feather centerpieces. BUT, I would base the centerpieces on theme of your wedding. Ostrich feathers are usually best in a 1920’s – 1930’s themed wedding.
I want to point out to you, that you need not have flowers for your wedding centerpieces at all. For example, you might do tree limbs, moss balls and silk leaves on the table along with votive candles.
For a beach wedding you could decorate with palm leaves, seashells, sand and votives.
Another alternative is to use mismatched glass candlestics that you borrowed from your friends.
Yet another alternative could be a simple lamp with votive on the tables.
But whatever you choose, you need to match it to your wedding’s theme.
