How to shrink a cotton dress shirt?
I was recently given a 100% cotton dress shirt but unfortunately its a size too large. I’ve been to several of the store outlets but none of them have the shirt in my size. Usually I’d just change it to another but I really like this shirt so was hoping that I could perform a “controlled shrink” on it. It’s currently a size large but I’m a size small. Any tips so that i don’t overdo it?
Sorry, it’s a size medium, not large
If it’s cotton, about all you’ll have to do is wash it in hot water, and then dry in a hot dryer. Cotton shrinks a good bit, but not sure if it will be enough.
