What shoes would look best with my wedding dress?
I’m having a hard time choosing shoes that would look best with my dress. I can’t exactly wear my dress into a store so I would like to purchase them online.
I know I want a medium to high heels in white. I would love something a little fancier with a rhinestone or knot/twist in the fabric by the toes. I like peep toes but I also like strap-y shoes.

You have gotten some really good suggestions here so I will not add to your shoe search. However, I have been involved in designing and making wedding gowns, including helping the bride pick the right shoes to wear on her wedding day.
Here is what I tell brides:
Use your credit card and buy several pairs of shoes. Try them all on with the dress. Keep one pair and return the rest. Have back up cushy flip flops for fatigued feet at the end of the night.
The first and foremost thing about your shoes is comfort. You will be on your feet for about 5 hours while you stand through the ceremony, the reception line, greeting guests, socializing, dancing and walking around — sitting only for maybe 30 minutes to eat. So wear comfortable shoes because aching feet will show in your posture, your step and, believe it or not, your face.
The best way to break in a pair of shoes is to wear a thick pair of socks and your shoes around the house as much as possible before the wedding date. Just 20 minutes a day for a week will do. This forms the shoe to the shape of your foot and gives the shoe an opportunity to stretch a bit. Standing in heels for hours causes your feet to swell, so if they are stretched by thick socks, they will be more comfortable on your wedding day. Some dress shoes can be slippery on certain floors. Either scrape the bottom of your shoes with sand paper to rough the finish or purchase self adhesive textured pads that go on the bottom of your shoes at the ball of the foot. If the shoe slips, even in the slightest way on a covered heal, there are pads you can use to prevent blisters in that area. I cannot stress enough how important foot comfort is on your wedding day.
