Help with Bouquet/garter toss at wedding?
I’m getting married in May and my mom wants me to have a bouquet toss, and I personally like the garter toss (it has made for good laughs at my aunts’ weddings that I have attended when I was younger). However, I am having a smaller wedding and most of the women and there are married themselves except for a handful. I would hate to have only 5 women or so trying to catch the bouquet, and 3 men going for a garter, so is there anything I can do to make a twist on this so that I can involve more people other than just those who are single?
(oh, and when they refer to “single” where do the engaged couples fit in? ie if I were to go with all the single women to catch the bouquet, would an engaged woman be included?)
p.s. We are not having a DJ or dancing at the reception and it will be mostly a sit down dinner. I’m hoping this will add some excitement so people aren’t sitting there bored after they’ve finished eating.
How about you ask all UNMARRIED people to come out. That means all people who are in a relationship, dating or engaged have to come out.
